@TesterinH Snapchat hat etwas, das wenig ins #Fediverse passt. Du hast einen enormen Druck, "Snaps" zu sammeln. Das tust du, in dem du ständig sinnlos etwas fotografiert und an deine Freunde schickst. Du darfst das aber nicht unterbrechen. Vergessen geht nicht, dann ist der Streak weg.
Hab diesen Druck bei meiner 15jährigen erlebt. Ist heftig.

La réponse la moins délirante face à ce genre de situation répétitive est de ne pas avoir de compte #Google, #Microsoft, #Apple, #Facebook, #Instagram, #Snapchat et autres avatars des Meta-Maga-Gafam qui, de toute façon, sont des méga-vampires charmeurs n'ayant pas d'autre intérêt envers vous que celui de faire du fric avec vous en utilisant pour ce faire tous les moyens possibles.

So, what arguments do you use to convince your near and dear to drop all #socialmedia but #mastodon, that have actually worked?

In general they love their #instagram , #facebook , #tiktok, #snapchat and (sadly) #twitter.

If I point out the horrifying privacy violations they willingly submit to, they say ”But all my friends are there”.

If it’s the #Twitter naziland hellscape they don’t have any friends there (btw a requirement for being _my_ friend), but then the excuse is ”I never post, only read!”

Need something that makes this horse drink after I dragged it to the water.
