@RenewedRebecca I don't do any 3D printing, but I believe precision is still a major limiting factor at this point. That said, one could probably 3D print an inkjet printer that could output at #ChuckClose scale and refine from there. #art

I was stunned to see these paintings by the late Chuck Close that look almost like watercolor.

There seemed to be no trace that Chuck Close had painted that Abstract Expressionist nude, of a unknown woman and the dog walker was left with a rolled-up canvas and a large debt.
This summer an archivist surfaced a photo from a student newspaper of the canvas so there was no doubt, it was painted by #ChuckClose and would it be worth millions?
