Nachdem ich mich in #CaveOfQud verliebt habe, wurde mir mal wieder klar, dass mich Indiespiele dieser Art mehr fesseln als diese AAA-Blockbuster, die zwar funkeln wie eine Discokugel, aber weniger Tiefgang haben als eine Debatte im Bundestag. Nachdem ich #Cogmind jetzt bei einem Kumpel gesehen habe, musste ich das natürlich auch direkt noch haben. Obwohl beide Spiele so unterschiedlich sind wie Tag und Nacht, ist jedes von ihnen ein Meisterwerk – ob nun in der ASCII-Ästhetik oder der liebevollen #PixelArt. Sie erinnern mich an die Nächte, die ich in NetHack verbracht habe. Schade, dass ich meist nur im Urlaub dazu komme, solche Perlen für mich zu entdecken. Gibt’s hier noch jemanden, der sich in MUDs wie Aardwolf verirrt? #gaming #roguelike

Pampered myself today and got #cogmind. Started a run, taking it slowly to understand how it works (there's plenty of things to master, but it's easy to play) and thought I would die sooner than later. But after an hour I'm three or fours level up and still going! Will hibernate until tomorrow. Wonderful and very straightforward traditional #roguelike
