We looked back on the historic struggle waged by Mexican Indigenous communities for their right to communication, and to treasure the memories of that journey towards justice and autonomy for the people.

Building intersectional common agendas. "We actively collaborated with activists from diverse fields to develop a common governance advocacy agenda on community-centred connectivity and environmental and gender justice. Fifteen members were able to participate in key global and regional events throughout the year through resources from our Member Engagement and Travel Fund. We strengthened our approach to movement building in the Asia-Pacific region by connecting national movements around digital rights issues with network members and partners in South and Southeast Asia."

We, as a community, advocated for and supported community-centred connectivity, safety for defenders facing threats, human rights and feminist narratives.

We countered information disorders, gendered disinformation and anti-rights discourses and we built democratic, inclusive and accountable digital governance.

Key institutions committed to #DigitalInclusion gathered with communities leading successful initiatives to address the barriers that prevent community-centred connectivity from growing and thriving, empasising their key role in bridging the persisting gaps.
