Despite what #ConorDougherty and the #NYTimes think of #Georgism, #LandValueTax is the foundation stone that will enable us to condense human settlement into population centers where motorized transport will no longer be needed for comfort or convenience. #LVT reverses #sprawl and makes the most efficient use of Nature's resources. #Urbanism #infrastructure serves the greatest number of people at the least cost. It is the only viable strategy for the #survival of advanced human #civilization.

The hit piece the #NYTimes published the other day by #ConorDougherty on #Georgism has really got me down about the state of #journalism in our #society. It was so full of #disinformation and #misinformation, and that has been the struggle with instituting #LandValueTax all along—despite the fact that #HenryGeorge anticipated possible objections to #LVT in advance when #ProgressAndPoverty was first published in 1879, audiences today have not actually read it and don’t understand it.

@ForeignSubstance the #truth is an accident. It's difficult for most people to grasp anything more complicated than their own personal debt.

#NYT is starkly #partisan these days, probably a reaction to the competition.
