Has anyone dug deep into the new Pixelmator that's part of Apple's new Creator Studio? Why does a vector appeared dithered. I opened an Adobe Illustrator file and can edit it as a vector in Pixelmator, but zoomed in it is dithered. It is just how it is displayed—it isn't really dithered upon export to PDF or SVG, but it bugs the hell out of me. As an Illustrator replacement Pixemator is DAMN close and I think enough for the casual user. The only export format missing that I MIGHT use is .eps (and native Illustrator .AI)

I've not examined the SVG code it exports, so depending on how clean that code is, I'm just not sure yet. (Not that Illustrator is a good citizen here either). #CreatorStudio #apple #adobe 2/2

I downloaded all the updated versions of Apple’s Creative Suite ... errr “Creator Studio” to see if this 25 year user of Adobe CC could “get by”.

Pixelmator is good enough for what I need from Photoshop and truthfully has been my toolbox since v1.0.

Pages still rounds the sizes of things to 2 decimal places. I need finer control to 3 or 4 places like Indesign. There's a dozen other things I need in Indesign too, but that's one I always check.

I love Pages. This is not a slight on the app. I use it a lot for simple projects, but in no way is it close enough to Indesign for me abandon it. 1/2 #apple #adobe #CreatorStudio

OK, OK! Offenbar muss man im #apple #mac #appstore angemeldet sein... Und zwar auch mit DEM Account, mit dem man seinerzeit mal Logic erworben hat.
#logicpro 12 funktioniert doch. Anschließend kann man sich auch wieder vom App Store abmelden und Logic startet ohne Meldung.

Liegt vermutlich an den neuen Abo Modellen mit #Creatorstudio
Apple tut sich hier keinen Gefallen meine ich.

Je quitte l’ipad 2 heures, je reviens, mes icônes ont changés, et on m’impose l’usage du creator studio pour ouvrir mon fichier pages, avec des options de flicages avec texte écrit en minuscule illisible. J’ai l’impression de lire un contrat d’assurance véreux.

One of the things I dislike most about the #CreatorStudio icons is that they're 'dark mode' only. #LiquidGlass introduced new icon styles with light mode, dark mode, and monochrome mode and Creator Studio just ignores that. "Dark Mode or GTFO!"
