still not sure of what's going on with the progress display there
i've cleared allzones mode with all characters but aria, bolt, tempo, klarinetta, chaunter and suzu
yet it only displays times for melody and miku, and doesn't even show clears for most others?
yesterday while in multiplayer mode it displayed a time for nocturna instead, and no others
kinda funny how all cotnd characters have their own proper name (besides bard for lore reasons)
and then there's monk
has he renounced to his own name as part of his vow of poverty?
i have 171 hours in crypt of the necrodancer and i still don't understand how boots of pain and ring of pain work beyond "do some damage"
What if they wanted to make an anime adaptation/sequel of Crypt of the Necrodancer, but they couldn't and made Rift of the Necrodancer instead /hj
okay, that's a stretch, but the intro cutscene looks somewhat like an anime opening, and the images in the credits are all references to animes

Crypt of the NecroDancer is on sale, so I looked into it again. It advertizes that I can use my own MP3s, which would be interesting to see if it works from a technical standpoint. But why would I? The soundtrack seems to be absolutely fantastic. Probably going to get it, and I don't even like pixel art. (I do however like the core artwork they use for marketing.)

Previous titles were all great, so hopefully we're in for something fun.
My attempt at using the #SteamDeck for productivity while I wait for my laptop to come back has resuscitated my #CryptOfTheNecrodancer obsession. Not good, especially since I still suck at the game (which, btw, is currently heavily discounted on GOG if you want to give it a go. Absolutely worth it, if you ask me.)
