Ongeki is one of the more unique rhythm games in the sense that what the player needs to do isn't just dictated by notes (including Bells, which are essentially "catch"-type notes).
The player may need to move in order to stay on the track, since being off-track will disable their button inputs, or avoid bullets, which will damage the player (unless a certain character is equipped, missing notes does not incur damage).
