I talk about my wife's Italian roots, but less about her #CubanAmerican grandfather. He was born in #Tampa to an #YborCity cigar maker but grew up mostly in Havana and Key West. Soon we're visiting my not-Cuban father nearby, and we're preparing by looking up where her GF lived.

Y'all. We just found the casita where his family lived just before he was born. Today it's gone, replaced with the Ybor City Museum. They give casita tours. Looks like it's the next door down.

We'll be taking one.
