So, i have this brain worm where i want to play an #rpg with my friends, but baldur's gate is way too expensive right now. I was looking into another #Larion Studios game (series) Divinity, but I'm unsure if we should start with the original #Divinity or with #DivinityOriginalSin (1 or 2). Any recs?
Finally rolled the credits on Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition
I'm in a complicated relationship with this game and I was about to drop it again (for the...15th time?) but this time I powered through it and finally closed this chapter.
It was fun and frustrating and if I'd have to pick a top 50 of the games I'd want to play again, this definitely won't be in the chart.
But hey, it is done and I don't see myself playing the second chapter any time soon, so I guess I'll be moving to complete FF VII Remake Intergrade (the DLC) and then off to Mass Effect 2 :)

We are not the same.
Usually these days I can play video games only for like an hour before I get... maybe not bored, but I feel like doing something else instead. But Divinity: Original Sin I could play for hours.
I've played about three hours of Divinity: Original Sin (Enhanced Edition) and it had been very good fun so far. For instance, I enjoy how that one skill makes it possible to talk to animals. Great voices and I suspect it will open up some quests.
First CRPG I've played since... Neverwinter Nights? Maybe.
Anyhoo, I started playing (again) Divinity Original Sin Enhanced.
Let's hope I will commit to it and complete it, playing it exclusively on the Steam Deck (docked and undocked)
Got my VideoGameGeek Secret Santa, and ended up with Jedi Survivor, Divinity Original Sin and Fable The Lost Chapters plus a DLC for ETS2

Really enjoying this game. I read in a review somewhere that you remember every battle and so far that has been true. You really have to consider so much. It's nice. And making me start to get way more curious about D&D

I'm on the easiest difficulty, but it's nice because this is my first #cRPG since like... Dungeon Siege? In 2002 or 2003?
Learning the magic systems, abilities, which enemies to prioritize in fights, etc... it's really fun. And my characters have only just made it to Level 5
