This is actually an A330-243MRTT (Multi-Role Tanker Transport) Voyager KC2, owned by a company called Air Tanker, and forms part of the RAFโ€™s reserve fleet, but has had all the tanker equipment removed, and has been leased out to Jet2 to make some money.
It can be recalled in time of emergency and refitted to full military spec in a couple of weeks, if necessary, but in the meantime is ferrying holidaymakers around.
