D-ALAP (fake registration, actually D-ALEM), Lockheed 1049G Super Constellation, in Lufthansa's 1950's livery, at Munich Strauss, 30th September 1996.
This plane never actually served with Lufthansa, actually flying for Air France.
The original D-ALAP was broken up in 1967.

Close-up of the triple tail of a piston-engined airliner in a retro colour scheme on display in an outdoor museum.
The plane is mostly white with a blue stripe running along the body.
The plane's triple tails are white, with blue bands across the middle, containing a yellow oval with a stylised flying blue bird in the centre.
Pale blue sky fills the rest of the frame.

Side view of a small, sleek, single engined light aircraft flying from right to left t a very low altitude, just a few metres above a grass runway. The plane is a bright scarlet red, with a large glazed canopy over the 2-seat cockpit, with only the rear seat filled. Long, spindly undercarriage legs extend down from the front of the wings, with large red spats over the main wheels. The spinner on the propellor is a gloss black, , as is the registration "G-COXI" on the sides of the rear fuselage. Greengrass fills the foreground at the bottom of the frame, with trees filling the background, with rolling hills and pale blue sky in the distance.

HB-IRN (fake registration), Douglas DC-3, in SwissAir colours, on display at the base of the Besucherhügel (Visitors Hill) at Munich Strauss Airport, 30th September 1996.
A Junkers JU-52/3m in pre-World War 2 Luft Hansa livery, and the tail of a Lockheed Constellation in post-WW2 Lufthansa colours can also be seen.
I previously saw this with the fake registration N569R on the terraces at Frankfurt Airport in 1993.
The actual HB-IRN is on display at the Swiss transport Museum in Luzerne where I saw it in 1989.
That plane operated the first commercial flights from Switzerland to my home airport, Manchester, in 1948!

Front side view of a World War 2-era twin propellor-engined airliner parked on grass facing slightly to the left of the camera, on display as part of a museum exhibit.
The plane is in a barely metal livery, either small "SwissAir" titles on the nose, larger, blocky "Swiss Air Lines" titles on the upper fuselage above the passenger cabin windows, and the large, black registration "HB-IRN" on the sides of the rear fuselage.
The tail is in the same bare metal, with a wide red stripe at the top, containing a large white cross.
The plane is casting a strong black shadow on the grass beneath it, suggesting the sun is almost directly overhead.
A bare metal and black, 3 propellor-engined airliner of similar vintage is in the background on the left, partially hidden by this plane, with the white, blue, and yellow tail of another plane in the top right corner.
Grey buildings in the distance meet bright but hazy sky.

Close-up of the rear fuselage and tail of a twin-engined jet airliner taxiing from right to left.
The plane has it's engines mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage.
It is largely white, with a square on the tail, slightly tilted on it's axis, blue ant the front and red at the rear, split by a curved line, with a curved white wedge splitting the top and bottom halves.
Grey concrete apron fills the foreground and most of the background, with a grey building stretching across the top of the frame in the distance.
