I like to keep experimenting with ink-like drawings and sketches with loose strokes, and what could be better than taking Chris Bumstead as a model for this new project 🎨
I'm fascinated by how Krita allows me to play with textures that look like traditional ink but with the freedom of digital. The blobs and strokes you see are not random - each one is meant to come to life when you run everything through EbSynth. It's like making magic: those seemingly chaotic blobs transform into fluid motion in the final animation.
I wanted to capture the power of a 6x Mr. Olympia while maintaining that loose sketch aesthetic. It's a constant journey between technical precision and controlled chaos.
Soon I will show you how these studies come to life. Technology allows us to do amazing things, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to that love of sketching and experimentation 🖤.
Interested in seeing more of the process? I have a full behind-the-scenes ready of how I use Krita and EbSynth to create these pieces 👀🔥
