These three #adeptaSororitas Novitiates have faces!
My husband informs me that I am insane to have sat there painting on eyebrows. But it was necessary.
The first four #adeptaSororitas Novitiates are ready to follow their superior into more terrible situations like the sad little ducklings they are.
The rest of the squad needs a little more work, mostly on their faces.
Novitiate Superior earned her paint by leading one of the last squads to survive the Necron slaughter. The red stripes on the base should make her easier to spot in the squad.

Speaking of bat boiz...
#EightLegsMiniatures jumped on an idea I suggested and made a version of this model kit with hollow heads and a tunnel through the legs and torso for wire. All so the dude could have bright, shiny eyes. I really love working directly with an artist to make something that uniquely satisfies the creative itch.
I'm working on a thing.
And it's really hard to photograph at this stage.
After a long break to recover from covid and the sinus infection from Hell, I finally finished something!

Lots of stuff in flight this #wipwednesday morning:
* still slowly assembling the Leviathan kit for my kid. He is having a great time with the painting.
* more #adeptaSororitas repentia to reinforce and paint
* the #ScoutsifierStudio walker has made some painting progress
* and I have my reward planned for when I finish assembling all those tiny little monsters.
Sometimes, everything looks done, and then the sword breaks right off. I should really start thinking ahead and glue the paperclip in place before I do the painting.
This repentia superior has a green energy whip because I was feeling like painting bright colors and why not.
With the holiday obligations complete, here are two very bright #adeptaSororitas repentia.
The one on the left is #speedpaint, and the one on the right is not. I don't think I actually get enough time saved by cleaning up after the speedpaints to really lean into them. So uh... /shrug?
I'm calling these two finished. White sure is a pain to paint, but I think it was worth the effort.
It's #wipwednesday and I have a lot of #adeptaSororitas partially painted this week. Paty is not helping at all.
When asking my kid which one he liked better, he told me he liked the straw best. 🙃

My kid wanted this guy to be one of The Good Guys, so this monster is actually an ally of his space marines. Nobody tell the 5-year-old that Chaos is always chaotic evil, kay?
Kid is getting better at painting, though! He did a great job of making deliberate choices on this one.
The big meanie (as I'm calling him anyway) is a little too short to fit in with the war dogs. But he’s getting a coat of paint and will hang out with them doing #chaosKnight stuff together anyway. My kid doesn't care about things like correct scale anyway.
Everything else is on hold for Op Xombie Bakes All The Pies, as I'm on the hook for dessert for 20 people tomorrow.
