To me it has the perfect mix of social commentary, comedy, character, and rural whimsy. I do like a bit of rural whimsy in my fantasy novels. Very few authors ever manage it properly though. #Pterry did.

you know that a book has finally succeeded in boring the bonce off you when you turn it down low so you can just let it ramble past and think of a more interesting story Yourself! Jeepers Hayley Marie! I've really tried to like this disc world book but, um, I failed! Second bust this week too. Meh! thannk God I can get my credits back! #EqualRites um, make that equal wrongs!

So I'm gettin on ok with this book. Ok, books that don't feature Rincewind haven't quite got that edge for me. I'll always like him best. But this one isn't too bad so far. #EqualRites
