Esper.lol will be shutting down soon. Honestly, I am tired of running my own instnce and maintaining it.
It's also a bit lonely here, I am still the only active user. So, I decided to move over to a personal blog instead.
Most of what I do here is make random posts about anime or projects I am working on.
I would rather do that and only worry about my own content compared to moderating other peoples and servers content here.

With this upgrade esper has been moved to a new server and is now running #NixOS! This does not change anything for the end user really but makes management a bit easier for me.
Moving servers means more ram! So, I have re-enable full text search for the instance again!
When NixOS-unstable has 4.4.2 available I will upgrade ASAP.
Maintenance is currently paused. Hetzner seems to be having issues with their creation of system backups atm.
I have created a backup of the database for esper already and done most of the work. I would rather wait for that to finish before the next step of upgrading to Mastodon 4.4
I will post here again once I am able to continue.
Some server maintenance will begin soon.
Esper.lol will be down for 20-30 minutes during this process.

Looks like @hetzner is currently having some issues. VPS's and my rented dedicated server all seem to be having networking issues so esper may be a bit unreliable till everything gets fixed up.
