I am so disappointed with so many companies that I used to consider privacy and security defending companies, jumping on the AI bandwagon. In my latest search for a new search engine, I found that most, not all, but most, are now pushing AI.
And to the search companies describing their AI search services as "privacy respecting search", how can it be privacy respecting when you're using AI, which steals data to train models, as "privacy respecting"?

On #figma #ai training #bs — As I haven't been noticed that my projects are automatically OPT-IN for AI training and it is probably too late. I now OPT-OUT of this non-sense in the creative bubble. Completely unethical to make it an OPT-OUT option. Will unsubscribe soon as I want my projects to finish before.
One more reason to go to @penpot even though I don't know how they want to implement their AI stuff. Hopefully it is just some basic stuff like helping with naming conventions and local AI implementation of that.

Well, I switched back to @StartpageSearch for my search after a few years of using DuckDuckGo , but then almost immediately read that they (Stargpage) launched their own AI service.
