During the writing of #mrsCleyton I made a very serious effort to improve the pacing, by creating a virtual board of colourised post-it notes. Each note contained a story “beat” and notes belonging to the same story arc had the same colour. I tried to arrange them such that certain beats would reoccur at certain intervals, almost like a musical score.
Did it work though? I think it helped me see progressions in the story that weren’t clear to me before, and I think it improved the story pacing. But yeah, I do consider imperfection to be a human trait, and in the end I had to give up the approach and write out the remaining parts on raw feeling.

@mwichary speaking of textfield focus: Since some time the search field in "new tab" does not get focus anymore. I'm sure it worked in the past to navigate with my beyboard only by pressing cmd + T for new tab and start typing what I'm searching for. Now it does not even work to focus the search field by pressing the "tab" key multiple times. It just cycles through my open figma tabs.
Do you know of any changes made here or if it's a bug?
デザイナーとして #CSS とか #frontend のコードを直接書きたい系の自分が #Figma に感じるフラストレーションを、#VibeDesign みたいなツールを使う人も感じているということはあまり予想していなかった

まあでも実際のコードで実装されたものをデザイン的に触れるようになれば、当然、実装の写像としての Figma に不満とか不要かもと思う気持ちが出てくるのは当然か

Completely unethical to make it an OPT-OUT option. Will unsubscribe soon as I want my projects to finish before.
One more reason to go to @penpot even though I don't know how they want to implement their AI stuff. Hopefully it is just some basic stuff like helping with naming conventions and local AI implementation of that.
I can rarely say I hate using a piece of software but I really hate Gimp. 💢
Here's the thing; I can use #Photoshop like a pro with my eyes closed. I know all the keyboard shortcuts and understand what everything does.
Same with #Figma. And those skills are transferable to other apps. If I open #Sketch I can pretty much understand everything with ease, even though its not my daily driver.
Then I open #Gimp. And I understand nothing. Nothing works as I would expect. It's wild. 😵💫

I’ve discovered that I’m still generally the fastest at working in @Sketch for visual design.
I believe it’s due to the thoughtful UI/UX lending itself to a low-friction workflow, but also just how optimized and fast it actually is as a fully native macOS app can’t be undersold.
