Ok, so I gave #Fallguy a try for 42 mins & 46 secs but that was MORE than enough.🤦♂️
Too much #Gosling & not enough #Blunt. sums it up. 🤷♂️
Since it wasn't good enough for me to finish it, I'd give it a 2 out of 10 for lack of entertainment value which means it a total 💣 in my book. 👎
The #Fallguy (2024) is already available for streaming on #Prime. That didn't take long. Must not have done well at the box office. 🤷♂️
And, as much as I like #EmilyBlunt, I chose to watch #TheLastSamurari (2003) instead & I needn't explain why.

Had fun with #FallGuy but it remains a mystery to me which #films of this sort catch on critically. Sticking with #DavidLeitch, I don’t know why this had impassioned pleas for folk to go to the movies, but Bullet Train got a kicking, for instance. Gets by on the chemistry and comedic ability of #EmilyBlunt and #RyanGosling, but it’s a bit limp technically for a #film about a stunt man.

I admit I wasn’t thrilled with the movie, #Jackpot on Prime, despite the promosing cast. The story felt a bit dragged out and hard to believe yet predictable at times. (Just my thoughts).
The extended version of the #FallGuy is on Peacock, and I wonder if I would have liked the non-extended version more. It started strong and lost steam at points.

We saw #FallGuy last night, and I have to say, if you can get to a movie theater to see it, you'll want to see those stunt pieces on a big-ass screen.
One thing I can't figure out is: Because the movie sets out as a literal thesis statement that stunt men are the people you don't think about, do all of the stunts that follow actually create a meta so deep that it actually breaks the fourth wall?
...I mean like the figurative fourth wall. LOTS more than 4 glass walls broken in that movie.
