I feel vaguely similarly about the 3.x D&D variant magic Incantations rules.
Sometimes I long for a system of rules that covers everything from researching a new spell to creating magic items under a single unified system.
But time I attempt to cobble one together it ends up getting impractically complicated.
Reincarnation as a scam mechanism
The idea of using reincarnation in TTRPGs as a means to escape justices or consequences does strike me as kind of interesting.
The video below suggested a M:tA scenario where Syndicate Technocrats are trying to track down a literal suicide squad of Euthanatos Mages on a spree of destroying financial records.

This got me thinking about counterspelling in D&D type games again in a serious way. It's something I've been picking away at for years, but never quite codified how all the parts fit.

Will probably get some modifications, but this is sort of the introductory spells list I intended to go with the Ancient Red Wyrm game.
