I had an idea for a Fire Emblem: Three Houses run that will end in the "heroes fight villains with the same powers" cliché. It will be a Verdant Wind run using only the Ten Elite descendants*, building them to the same classes** as the Ten Elites.

* Since Dimitri is unavailable in Verdant Wind, I chose Leonie as a Golden Deer with proficiency in lances and riding (which are two of the three skills needed for the Dark Knight class).

** Since some classes are unique or gender-locked, I tried to choose suitable replacements. I also decided not to deprive Claude of his unique class. That led to four of the twelve characters riding wyverns, which is probably not ideal and should be revised during the playthrough.

Fire Emblem does have some things to teach us about tabletop RPG's.

- A small number of characters can take on a near Infinite number of enemies if those enemies are split up.

- Players love getting time to hangout and do regular activities with their comrades.

- Having ranged characters whose range never goes farther than an enemy can move in a turn promotes better positioning.

- This game should have had a dash action.

- Shamir is best girl.

I have a theory that Byleth inherited the Crest of Seiros from Jeralt, but it could not manifest due to the Crest of Flames' dominance. I believe it would resurface after the events of Crimson Flower

The Jeritza S-Support art, with him holding Seiros's sword, really backs this up
