In the #RussianRevolution's chaos, the #FirstArmenianRepublic was declared in Russian #Armenia. In Sept 1920, #Ottoman forces invaded, killing ~250,000, under orders to "eliminate Armenia physically and politically" as part of the #ArmenianGenocide. It ended #ThisDayInHistory.
