There’s about 38 hours left to back the #ghostintheshell (#gits) #ttrpg, if that’s your thing. It’s based on forged in the dark (#FitD) game mechanics and looks pretty stunning.
I broke down and went in for the base set with a couple of add-ons. I couldn’t help it, it’s my favourite manga IP of all time.
The creators are French „Mana Project Studios“, the game is available in English, French and Italian. You can also download a free quick starter to check it out.

Fast forward to this week when I listened to John Harper's Interview on the Third Floor Wars podcast.
Now I have the preview pdf. The union factions alone sounded very exciting.

It'll likely be Sundered Isles as the cursed pirate tropes are something I've only done a few times.
Though another part of me wants to do something in the Band of Blades setting -- a lost member of the Legion or the like.

Taking another dive into Final Fantasy Legend Edition TTRPG, and thinking about how the video games were so asymmetrical between character and enemy stats. Characters would often top out at 9,999 HP if you leveled like crazy while enemies could have a million or more HP.
Also I used to be like "oh no, how would I play Traveller but pre-modern fantasy, weh" and now I'm like "just strip out guns off Troika! and change Roll Under into Roll Over and you have fantasy Traveller".
Though I will wait a little longer to run Troika! adventure. Currently my players decided one is going to run Court of Blades while another will run Mountain Home in between. We're having #FitD tornado here.

Are there any Forged in the Dark games that have contributed open content? I love that the core SRD is CC-BY, but are there any hacks that have opened their additions to further hacking?
I’m seriously thinking about making Blades in the Marsh, but I’m curious what else I can build from in a licensed way.

Ich hatte heute Abend viel Spaß beim offenen Rollenspieltreff in Griesheim. Zu meiner Überraschung waren einige der Spieler an "Girl by Moonlight" interessiert und wir haben eine Runde zusammenbekommen.
Wir haben das Jumpstart Kit für "In a Maze of Dreams" gespielt.
Ich habe jetzt das dritte Mal GbM gespielt und das Gefühl den Spielfluss diesmal deutlich besser verstanden und angewandt zu haben.
