Tuesday will be a week without access to the balcony (on which the HOA guy has done ~4 hours of work, so far). We’re all out of sorts as no one here is a fan of disruptions to our routines and/or our peace. Here’s Mary, cranky that I’m not sitting in my usual spot (where 1/3 of the window is blocked by construction stuff).

Hard to believe she’s almost 9. She came to my friend Jessie (of #SadieTheCat and #MaggieTheDog) as a 3 week old foster on 8/10/2014 and I got to babysit her for that first week (while Jess toured colleges). That week left me in love with #OpalKitten & fostering. I adopted her that Oct. IIRC, I started fostering the following summer.

Did you mistake her for Studs? She’s smaller, not eartipped, has a ring of white around her neck, only has one eye covered by tabby, and has a longer tail with more defined rings and a white tip. Oh and her legs are mostly white (whereas Studs has a tabby “sleeve” on one front and one back leg.

Here’s #MaryKitty. It’s hard to get good photos of her bc, if she sees you looking at her, she typically comes toward you when you take a picture. You can tell her apart from Sir Studs because the brown tabby only covers one of her eyes, she’s smaller, and she doesn’t have an eartip.
