I always assumed Sausage was a Les Claypool band that morphed into Primus. What I learned today was that Sausage was essentially the 1988 lineup of Primus, before Ler and Herb joined. The Riddles album was recorded by a regrouped Primus '88 in 1993, between the official Primus albums Pork Soda and Tales from the Punchbowl.
