I need some fantasy rpg urban adventures. (Not modern with supernatural, d&d-esque but in a city.)

Ich glaub ich hab soeben kapiert, welcher Anwendungsfall bei mir das Bedürfnis auslöst, Encounter zu würfeln: Nämlich wenn ich neue Spielies mit neuen Charakteren habe, weder Menschen noch Figuren gut kenne, und mich darauf vorbereiten will, dass ETWAS passiert. Ob ich auf der Tabelle dann würfle oder wähle, weiss ich noch nicht. Aber so eine Tabelle schafft einfach die Sicherheit, dass irgendwo irgendwas sowieso passieren wird!

ein arrogantes Kind wirft mit Dreck nach den SC; sein Vater ist allerdings ein Adliger aus Thay (rote Roben und Wizard Skills inklusive) und geniesst diplomatische Immunität

ein Mitglied der Diebesgilde versucht sich im Taschendiebstahl

eine Purpurner Paladin mit langen Blonden Haaren trägt ihren Helm unter dem Arm reitet langsam vorbei, Kinder folgen ihr und rufen ihr zu, gewöhnliche Männer sind instant bezaubert von ihr (Karinn von Ceralonh, Cha 17)

ein Händler sieht die Party und wird SEHR aufdringlich, und lässt einfach nicht locker, um die SC dabei zu belauschen was sie so planen

Mercury Dragon überfliegt die Stadt sehr langsam und guckt die SC am Boden direkt an

Peinlich.

Ich habe heute gefunden, dass es für D&D 5 2014 ein Unearthed Arcana für Psionik gibt. 🤩

Ich bin ein so grosser Fan der AD&D 2nd Psioniker und... habe das verpasst, übersehen irgendwie.🫣

Habe jetzt einen Amethyst-Kobolden als Mystic Stufe 4 im DungeonMastersVault erstellt. Und will mehr. Mich da richtig einfuchsen und einen 2ten Plot für den stream am Start haben bis zum 24. Januar. 💎 Und einen Amethyst-Drachen vielleicht auch.

I had thought about having the world’s largest dungeon in a remote corner of my map, and letting my group explore it if they want to. But it’s seriously too huge.

What I might do is steal regions from it and pepper them around the map. Ones that can make sense at least.

But it almost feels too big to even mine for good parts.

I have an idea for what to put in the spot I had in mimd though.

I’ve finished Pigs Have Wings. A fun little romp. It does remind me that some of the plots between noble houses should be petty squabbles and practical jokes, like stealing each others prized pigs. Maybe amped up a little, like stealing prized pegasi.

2 Inner Gate
The inner gate used to be barred, but the fastener rusted and the goblins haven’t repaired it. It’s heavy enough to take an action to open. If the goblins are alert and manning the murder holes, any character between the two gates takes 1d4 damage from dropped rocks, shivs, and other garbage after their turn. Plus the goblins in the guard posts could fire arrows through the slits.

I like the idea that they don’t use the underground sections, but dump their garbage and occasional prisoners down the trapdoor to feed some giant spiders that live down there.
