Day 19 of #Arttrober is Reika, a character from the manga/anime Gantz.
I did watch some of the anime adaptation, but it didn't really appeal to me—at least not at the time.
I think I need to rethink how I draw glossy surfaces and fabrics. I'm never really satisfied with the result. I guess I should do more art study, and develop a new technique. When I have more time perhaps.

Der Manga #Gantz hat sehr viele wirklich unschöne Dinge. Er ist echt übersexualisiert und gerade am Anfang empfand ich das als sehr störend.
ABER es ist auch eine meiner absoluten Lieblings-Geschichte über Menschen. Es ist eins von zwei Werken, die ich wirklich extrem schnell innerhalb von 2 Tagen durch hatte (37 Bände).
Gantz zeigt Menschen in Extremsituationen. Arschlöcher, die erwachsen werden. Es zeigt Verbundenheit. Liebe statt Lust und es hat mich damals wahnsinnig begeistert
