@N4JAW @M0PWX Having moved three times in as many years (and only minimally unpacked), I’m still finding things long lost / forgotten in my superficial exploration of the boxes. What’s in this box? Wow! That looks interesting, does it work, let’s see…

Just wish I had soldering ability inside and not just out in the very cold garage… 🙃

Enjoy building your “new” kits!!

Ran across an unfinished late-80’s project that would benefit from some time to poke around on: SHF Systems 144/902 MHz linear translator boards (3). Two boards are bare and a third has the oscillator built up that might be checked out with current test gear. Got these years ago from a ham who was cleaning out their shack. Design is by Richard Campbell KK7B. Curious to see if they can be salvaged. Documentation is at: 01895fa.netsolhost.com/PDF/Man #HamRadio #NotSDR #GarageFinds

Photo of KK7B 144 to 902 Transporter boards and documentation. Two boards are bare and one has the oscillator section built up. Will it work?Close up photo of the KK7B 144 to 902 MHz transporter oscillator section. Curious to see if this fires up (and if not, how much effort to get this stage working. Need to look for some amps and mixers to fill out the rest of the board's stages.

I was wondering where my DHTML book had gone…

A stack of early 2000’s development books.

I was looking for some of my field guides. The black bag was in this orange pack. Also found a nice tarp and a pair of binoculars that I had completely forgot about.

Vintage Gear

Three mulitshot collages of an old zoom lens. The brand name is Montgomery Ward and it also says made in Japan.

I picked it up because it was cool, but I don't have a camera body that uses this type of screw mount.

A friend of mine thought it was a Pentax mount.

The glass is clear and the controls appear to work.

An old film camera from my collection

Don't know anything about it, not even sure if it is empty of film

I think it's a Range Finder from maybe the 50s

It's been in my boxes and shelves for at least 20 years

Found these binoculars while going through a box of collectables

Probably paid $20 or less at an antique mall or junk store. Always picked them up at that price. I have a few in the collection. The glass is in good condition and the controls work fine.
