I should make one of these log grabbers. Does look doable. Maybe from some of those old harrow parts I found, they look strong. Hopefully not too strong to drill though :)
I have one of these old Stanley retractable knives that my dad probably bought back in the 70s or 80s. Made of metal, sturdy af and it just makes me happy because it's built so well. It will for sure outlive me, too.
And to my surprise they still sell them! Still made of metal. Wow, good durable tools are still being made in 2025??? 😮
