Fence decor on Georgetown Neighborhood. I've looked at it and though those plastic and metal parts niggle at my memory I can't place them. I thought the white bits might be stapler tops, but no...does anyone know?

A fence made of weathered cedar is decorated with stars built with industrial leftovers, which i can't identify. One star in the upper left is made with black metallic strips joined with what look like screwed in shelving strips . A large star on the bottom has rays of white metallic parts ( computer? drawer pieces?) and black strips joined by yellow wooden strips. One that wraps around the corner at the top right is a copy of this last one.

I don't know what the various strips are from!

A street-facing continuation of the weathered cedar fence has stars as described before, and three curves framing the stars one at the top made of white and black strips set closely spaced side by side, and two at the bottom, made of two series of white strips set closely spaced side by side.
It looks very modernist and hand made. There is a gate towards the right side with a black and white star at the top.

Another Georgetown breakdown photo: A nice idea that should spread throughout Seattle, this street is closed except for local traffic, the idea being to allow people to use the area for talking, kids playing, etc. Take that, Google Maps!

A street closure barricade sign indicates these blocks are closed to through traffic. The sign has a description of the program, and a poster showing people plating, walking, biking and wheelchairing.wheelchair ingredients. The program is called Seattle Healthy Streets. Part of the program consists of putting speed bumps in areas to slow traffic down, and narrowing the streets to one lane with local parking only.

A tall tree stump in front of a house has a large face carved into it. The bark is very rough and the carving uses the bark and grain to help emphasize the emotion. The eyes are below furrowed brows, and look angonized. The cheeks bones are prominent, the nose slightly mashed with a long flowing mustache, and the mouth wide open, either screaming or yelling. You get to guess what is happening inside the wooden head!
There are various shrubs and greenery surrounding the carving. Maybe it is the Green Man.

On the other side of the house is an equally large tree stump with no carvings. It is dotted with an array of clumps of moss and shelf mushrooms. It, too, is surrounded by greenery. Although there is no carving visible from the street, maybe there is one on the back?

A gray fluffy shih tzu checks out a pot full of spring plants on a sudwalk grass strip with a sign in comic lettering saying Bohdi's P Mail. There is an umbrella in the middle of the sign. To protect one from the p mail delivery, I guess.

I had to do an emergency run to Port Orchard and on the way back ran out of gas! Drove into a neighborhood I've never been to, and walked the dog while waiting for AAA. Got some neat photos! Here are a pair of jazzy LFL!

In the front yard of a Georgetown house, two repurposed newspaper boxes sit side by side, one painted yellow and one sky blue, hold Little Free Library books. The yellow one has a fence with climbing flowers painted on the front. The blue one has a pile of books painted on it. They both have various stickers on them. There is a bench stained orange next to the pair, inviting one to sit and browse.
