A study by Daniel Krieger (#MPIM) & Ralf Weisse (@hereon) reveals that most current climate models predict a decrease in #storm activity in the future. However, when storms do occur, they may be more severe than today. One possible explanation is a change in storm tracks, but this needs to be investigated further.
