The comfortably-wealthy also don’t realize how little influence they have over politics. A few grand in donations from a millionaire gets them nothing. The equivalant percentage from a billionaire gets them #GrowSF and the Governor on speed dial.

I am shocked, shocked to find that the VC henchlings who run #GrowSF are coming out against Prop L in their latest voting guide.

For years #Lyft and #Uber ran at heavy losses providing transportation to the public at artificially low prices, using millions and millions of dollars in venture capital to undercut public-funded transit like #MUNI and #BART.

It is time for them to pay their fair share.

@wavdl Last mailer I got form #GrowSF wanted me (no stated party affiliation) to register as a Democrat so I could vote in the Democratic Central Committee elections. In other words, they want non-members to infiltrate the party and disrupt the election.

Whatever advice I might have taken from them in past voter guides just went out the window.

today i met some neighbors who are behind the Golden Gate Greenway, an effort to transform a closed block in the #tenderloin into a permanent, green, outdoor, multi-use, #carfree community space. think food popups, fitness classes, children's playspace, social services — all that good stuff. they told me that despite the project being only 2 years old, #growsf has been trying to shut them down 🙃 so tmrw i'm gonna gift them a zine. check em out! https://www.goldengategreenway.org/
