@massivelyop no... But that's not a good thing this year! I think my regret is that I didn't buy any MMOs this year! That's just awful. I bought a couple of single player games but nothing MMO. I considered #Guildwars2 but I knew I wouldn't have the time it deserves yet so I just went back to offline games or ones I've already got or #F2P

Huh, apparently all a Guild Wars 2 player needs is an X3D CPU. That downright tripled my FPS, which is far more than I can say for any computer upgrade I ever did before.

Ich weiß tatsächlich auch gar nicht, was mich eigentlich an #GuildWars2 hält. Also ernsthaft.
Die Story ist unfassbar belanglos.
Die Charaktere sind unfassbar belanglos bis himmelschreiend nervtötend.
Das Kampfsystem ist okay, glaube ich, aber ich bin kein großer Fan davon wenn sich Skills ändern je nachdem welche Waffen man trägt.
Der ganze Grind für irgendwelche aufgestiegenden Sachen oder sowas geht auch komplett an mir vorbei, weil ich das Gefühl habe ich muss ein halbes Studium absolvieren und mein komplettes Leben investieren wenn ich die notwendigen Bauteile für irgendwas halbwegs brauchbares erlangen möchte.
Der Grafikstil ist... speziell. Es ist der eher artsy approach in Sachen Spielegrafik. Ich mag das nicht wirklich. Im Gefecht ist das vor allem quietschebunt und ich brauche spezielle Helfertools um rauszufinden wo in dem Gewühle meine Maus ist.
Oh, und der dumme Drache, der eigentlich Fortbewegung beschleunigen soll, bleibt wirklich an jedem Hauch eines Polygoneckchens hängen.
#GuildWars2 ist 2012 erschienen. Über 13 Jahre ist das Spiel nun alt. Und mich verbindet auch heute noch eine persistente Hassliebe mit diesem Spiel.
Wie oft ich an diesem Haufen Programmcodemüll schon verzweifelt bin, weil ich am Ende einer ohnehin super harten Quest einem nicht schlagbaren Champion gegenüber stehe. Oder, wenn dann doch mal jemand zum Helfen vorbei kommt, wie hier die Questgeberin dann einfach in der Luft schwebt und man somit die erhoffte Belohnung nicht bekommt.
Ich glaube, das einzige Spiel wegen dem ich mehr geflucht habe war #AssassinsCreed3. Und die Verwünschungen, die ich da ausgesprochen habe, haben Cthulhu im Schlaf zum Weinen gebracht.
