Can't sleep. Brain focused on Bill Tracy dark rides as unappreciated haunt history, once again

If you've ever been at a haunt with a spinning vortex tunnel, that's a Bill Tracy design. The neon paint splatter is his 60s psychedelia blacklight poster inspiration. There is SO MUCH overlap here, and I hate how the Mou$e Corp has stolen the idea of dark rides from popular memory

This is a painted copy of one of the versions of the caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. He has a hookah, with a piece of silver pipe-cleaner to make it look more three-dimensional. For a Halloween costume.

A little late, but I finally got around to making an account! As a quick introduction, hi, I'm Chip! I'm a designer and researcher who's previously worked in theatre, #EscapeRooms, and #HauntedAttractions, but these days I research the aesthetics of tech in #ThemedEntertainment.
