I think a couple of them might have been #Hawkwind, but we were discussing how it could easily have been shit….
Instead we got amazing space rock in 2025.
There were two singers, one also on guitar. Once it was pointed out how much one was like Jello Biafra it was hard not to see!

The gig was excellent. We missed the first support because we were eating, but showed up just as the second support, a #Motorhead tribute act, started. The Lemmy clone really couldn't sing but the guitarist and drummer were excellent.
#Hawklords played a two hour set, including a lot of Robert Calvert poems as well as his music, finishing with a 15 min version of "Eject".
Tribute was also paid to Nik Turner.
Having read Moorcock's The Opium General, I am never going to feel that I'm being too obvious in inserting real people into fiction.
