An old friend of my has gone missing. She/they are one of the gentlest, sweetest people I know. They struggle with manic bipolar and left their parent's house in Healdsburg on the morning of the 6th while apparently experiencing an episode.

Took a short drive to Healdsburg, found that nothing had changed for the worse and the flowers and other growing things are rioting quietly and happily in their yards. Good peoplewatching. Enjoyed the various raven-themed locations with their lovely signage and wondered if they're all connected.

The ticket booth at the Raven theater/club/lounge/whatever shows two top-hatted ravens on its glass screen. They're facing each other, bowing politely. Yours truly is reflected in the glass.

The Raven theater/club/etc. also has a neon raven, top hat and cane all there, and it needs a little care and upkeep because it's looking wasted.

ICYMI: The last day of service at Adel's, the beloved diner in Healdsburg, is tomorrow Wed. 11/29. The family is asking folks to come in, show support and say goodbye. "It’s been a absolute pleasure for us all to serve you and you will all be greatly missed!"
