Want to join me for a little #teardown thread? I eBay'd 3 #HeliumNetwork #LoRaWAN hotspots. Let's take a look at what's inside! First up is the SyncroBit gateway. Inside its plastic housing we see a #RaspberryPi #CM4 carrier board with a LoRa radio under a heatsink. There's also an LED strip running behind a translucent plastic strip. Under the heatsink are HUGE gobs of thermal paste. Clean it up, find no markings on the front or back of the LoRa module. There's also an empty uSD slot. 1/7
