Colorado Springs, CO β On January 12, students at Coronado High school in Colorado Springs staged a walk out to protest ICEβs murder of Renee Good, who graduated from Coronado High School in 2006.
Students were joined and supported by the Colorado Springs Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression and many community members, including alumni who had been classmates with Renee Good.

My geometry teacher has all her notes and practice problems and stuff for all her classes available on a personal website, so it has come up enough in geometry so far that I'm gonna sit down this weekend and reteach myself some basic algebra cause used in logic questions have been an issue.

There are some aspects of my old science teacher I miss, this new guy is a corny dork without a queer bone in his body, but I respond so much better to his specific teaching style of a mix of note taking while discussing what the notes mean and worksheets applying what you learned from the notes. It is really sticking w/ me better than the prior's lecture-heavy approach and printed out notes.
I got through the first unit notes today in Geometry today and it totally made logical sense to me and gave me more confidence than I did have that maybe this won't be as hard as I thought.
I'd still be shocked if I can keep up my straight As though, but I'm gonna study as much as I need.
