Two of my original characters (man and woman) in a test pose just for clothing, so they’re standing stiff and upright facing us side by side.

The fashion is supposed to be 1930s influenced.
She has styled hair, a jacket suit with pockets, ankle length skirt, he has a fairly ordinary suit but double-breasted and combed-back hair.

The artwork process is complicated, I pencilled the outline as a cartoon style, with no shading, then inked it. Then I shaded it with a clutch pencil. Then I scanned this, then retouched it in Gimp 3 to clean it up and burn out the background, and apply a 45° line screen with just the correct settings to how I want it, then in Procreate I used my old high-lining technique from the 80’s which is to accentuate the solid outline shapes by drawing a solid black line around, and then inside that a solid white line next to it, which cuts into the line screening.
