Since late December, I've been playing my tweed amp rather than using pedals into a pedal platform amp.
So I've finally picked up a Lazy J Cruiser Deuce to go with to.
This isn't your regular overdrive pedal. Run it into a clean pedal platform amp, and you'll regret the purchase.
It's specifically designed to go in front of a tweed amp to act like a second channel (ie a lead boost).
Only had 10 mins with it, but I already got some great rhythm tones out of it!
Got up this morning to finish off a new #HomeToneBlog #guitar blog post about compressors.
Went to export the audio I'd recorded yesterday. Couldn't match the audio up to the placeholders I'd put into the blog post.
Realised I'd screwed up the track labels 🤦♂️
I'd better re-record these and get the damn track labels right this morning.
Hoping to spend a lazy day catching up on my backlog of #guitar #HomeToneBlog blog posts that I want to write.

tl;dr - if you need a fairly generic overdrive with nice mids that won't steal the limelight from other instruments, it's worth getting one.

Today, I think I finally figured out why there are times I prefer #TweedTone and times that I prefer #PlexiTone.
Going to cogitate on that for a few days, to see if it sticks or not.
That moment when you go looking for a pedal review, and end up on your own blog post from the before-times about a related pedal 😂
