On this #AshWednesday I managed to see 5 of the 10 parishioners I had planned on for home ashes. One wasn’t home, one was sick, two had medical appointments, and one came to the Noon service.
I’ve got one more service to go before calling it a day.
5/10 is pretty good. And it’s one of the little things I enjoy about my job.
Making #HomeVisits today and I have a parishioner who drives what looks like something made by Fisher-Price or Playskool. It’s a little single-seat electric vehicle with eyelashes on the headlights. It also has overhead lights on the roof. One of those lights was tilted down, so I got her screwdriver, a little step ladder, and tightened it into place.
