there's people who want to remote control their PC beyond usual means.
here's someone who patched his UEFI/BIOS to allow access over WiFi, pre-OS. she's just using what any system integrator could do either, intel's FIT-tool, and the various management-engine (ME) blobs. it's interesting to see people walk down that road, although in the wrong direction.
