Michelle Trachtenberg apparently just died at the age of 39.

Death isn't being investigated as suspicious. I thought she made it out of the child actor death spiral. Seems like first reports say she might have had medical complications.

I watched the film 'Ice Princess' (2005) for the first time back in 2007. Back then I was not impressed (or maybe I didn't want to admit to myself that I was).

Well, tonight I rewatched the film - and this is actually a pretty decent film. Like, this is fully captivating and moving.

And, as the lead said in perhaps my favorite scene about her passion for ice skating:
"What is so horrible about that? About feeling strong and beautiful and graceful - for once in my life!?"
