A mural on an eight-storey building. The mural is approximately 6-8 meters wide and 20-25 meters high, depicting a giraffe seen from the side, with its hindquarters extending beyond the painting. The giraffe stretches its long neck upwards to the right, as if it were eating.

On another wall, perpendicular to the wall with the mural, ivy grows from the ground up to the height of the giraffe's head. Between the windows to the right of the mural, the plant grows towards the giraffe's mouth, making it look as if the giraffe is eating the plant.
A light grey border on the right-hand side of the mural creates a 3D effect, making it seem as if the giraffe is coming out of the wall, from an inner world in the flat.

Jan Is De Man: This concept where the giraffe is eating the plants, is going to be better within the years… The wall next to the giraffe becomes a vertical green garden. But I was a bit impatient, so I drew a few of the plants already.

Jan Is De Man: In this interactive project, local residents could send me their most precious object. Besides the size this also was a challenging mural for me cause I painted a lot of things that I usually would never do. As an example: I never thought I would paint a singing frog like this.
