@T_X In my case the cold storage are HDDs with archived data that are offline and only fetched when needed.
I am thinking about ways to be able to search contents of these drives without needing to connect them.
I am wondering if maybe Baloo could do this - I've defined unique mountpoints for each archival drive so I guess if I index them, I should be able to use something like KFind to search the index and show me files that are on the offfline drives?
