Six-Day #Capacity_Building_Workshop on Disaster Management Concludes in #Nuristan and #Khost

The #ARCS concluded a six-day capacity-building workshop on #disaster_management and cash transfers at its provincial branches in Nuristan and Khost Provinces for 50 staff members and #volunteers. The workshop ended with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
During the workshop, participants received comprehensive #theoretical and #practical training on effective management of emergency response, practical planning, assisting affected individuals, and the transparent distribution and secure transfer of cash aid. The workshop aimed to equip participants to provide timely, efficient, and professional services to people affected by disasters and emergencies.

General President of the #ARCS, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, provided #cash_assistance of 50,000 Afghanis at the central headquarters to the head of a family from Kabul’s 12th district. The family lost four members when their home collapsed due to heavy snowfall several days ago.
During the handover, Mr. Delawar expressed his condolences to the family head and assured them that the ARCS stands by them during this difficult time. He also stated that the ARCS plans to provide cash aid soon to 21 other families in #Khost, #Kandahar, #Maidan_Wardak, #Parwan, and #Ghor provinces who also lost family members due to recent snowfall.
It is worth noting that ARCS rescue teams arrived promptly after the incident, transported the injured to the hospital, and, at the request of the family head, transferred the deceased to their ancestral home in #Nangarhar.

رسیدگی عاجل به خانواده #عودتکننده؛ کمک غیرغذایی در #خوست ارائه شد
چهارشنبه، ۲۴ رجب ۱۴۴۷
از سوی #هلالاحمر_افغانی، بهمنظور تأمین سرپناه موقت، #کمک_اضطراری مواد غیرغذایی به یک خانواده مهاجر تازه عودتکننده در مرکز ولایت خوست ارائه شد؛ خانوادهای که در زمستان سرد بهدلیل نداشتن سرپناه، در فضای باز زندگی میکرد.
این کمک شامل؛ یک باب خیمه، پنج تخته کمپل، یک تخته ترپال، یک سیت وسایل آشپزخانه و دو بوشکه آب بود.
خدمترسانی، حمایت و تأمین نیازهای اولیه زندگی هموطنان عودتکننده، از اولویتهای اساسی هلالاحمر افغانی است.

#Emergency_Relief for Repatriated Family: Non-Food Assistance Provided in #Khost

The #ARCS delivered emergency non-food assistance to a newly repatriated family in the center of Khost province to provide temporary shelter. The family had no accommodation during the #harsh_winter and was living outdoors due to the lack of housing.
The #assistance package included one tent, five blankets, one tarpaulin, a set of kitchen utensils, and two water jerrycans.
Providing services and support to repatriated people and meeting their basic living needs remain among the key priorities of the ARCS.

Under the special instructions of the General President of the Afghan Red Crescent, Sheikh el-Hadis Shihabeddin Dilaver, 71 tons of food aid was distributed to 1,000 returning refugee families in the center of Khost province.
As part of this assistance, each family received 71 kilograms of food supplies, including flour, rice, oil, sugar, tomato paste, and pasta.
In addition, each family also received a number of non-food items, including women’s clothing, shampoo, and other essential items.
This aid will play an important role in meeting the short-term food needs of these families.
The Afghan Red Crescent stands with returning refugees and considers their support and service as both a humanitarian and national responsibility.

Buna ek olarak, her aileye kadın kıyafetleri, saç yıkama şampuanı ve diğer gerekli malzemeleri içeren gıda dışı yardım ürünleri de dağıtıldı.

During a visit to Khost province, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, inspected various ARCS #properties, including an assessment of the general condition of its warehouses.
Mr. Delawar instructed officials on the effective and organized utilization of ARCS properties to increase the Society’s revenue through optimal use of these assets.

A new cohort of #Police officers has graduated from the Police Education and Training Center in #Khost, completing comprehensive training in religious studies, security protocols, detective work, and professional skills.
Officials stated that these graduates are well-prepared to uphold the law and contribute to public #security in their communities.

An exam was held for candidates applying to vacant positions in the Afghan Red Crescent Society's Health Department sub-clinics.

The Health Department of the Afghan Red Crescent Society conducted an exam at the central headquarters in Kabul for 58 candidates applying for three vacant (MD) positions in the sub-clinics of Paktika and Khost provinces.
A total of 213 doctors had registered for these positions, of whom 58 candidates met the required criteria and were invited to take the test. After reviewing the answer sheets and conducting interviews, the top-performing candidates will be selected and appointed to the positions.

از سوی ریاست خدمات صحی #هلال_احمر_افغانی، از ۵۸ نامزد بخش (MD) برای ۳ بست در #کلینیکهای_فرعی ولایتهای #پکتیکا و #خوست، در دفتر مرکزی #کابل امتحان اخذ شد.
برای این بستها، ۲۱۳ تن از داکتران ثبتنام کرده بودند که از جمله آنها، ۵۸ تن با شرایط مورد نظر مطابقت داشتند. پس از بررسی اوراق امتحان و مصاحبه، شرکتکنندگان برتر در امتحان، شناسایی شده و برای انجام وظایف مربوطه تعین خواهند شد
