No one is going to believe this, but with Spec-Driven Development using https://kiro.dev/ (the latest update), I'm writing about 5K LOC of near-production-quality code per day (Claude Sonnet 4.5).
Why "near"? It's not perfect, but in years of consulting, I've found Kiro is writing code better than most devs I've worked with. It still won't match top devs.
That being said, this requires DISCIPLINE. It's not turnkey.
Project is currently 44K lines (w/comments+docs).

I can't tell you how many times I've had to chastise other tools, because either the execution directly disobeyed a prior requirement, the build didn't satisfy the need, or worse, the code just flat out didn't work. But #Kiro is amazing in its planning, then reqs building, then execution. (cont)
