No one is going to believe this, but with Spec-Driven Development using https://kiro.dev/ (the latest update), I'm writing about 5K LOC of near-production-quality code per day (Claude Sonnet 4.5).
Why "near"? It's not perfect, but in years of consulting, I've found Kiro is writing code better than most devs I've worked with. It still won't match top devs.
That being said, this requires DISCIPLINE. It's not turnkey.
Project is currently 44K lines (w/comments+docs).
