Final #baking on this #SilentSunday #sundayafternoon #kitchenArts using new to me wood grain cookie cutters/stamps from my local buy nothing group, I made chocolate peanut butter sugar cookies and smeared on the last of some leftover royal icing that was in the freezer. Not all kept the strong grain lines, but these seemed photo worthy! #kitchenFun #sugarcookies

I've just spent a fun hour seeing how far I could spray pomegranate juice when slicing them open (about 3ft, for anyone who's interested), while listening to one of my favourite Renee Fleming CDs (The Beautiful Voice, for anyone who's interested). Munch, the cat, joined in at one point, yowling loudly - I'm not sure if he was singing along or trying to drown her out, but the competition was pretty intense for a while.
