RM is an unforgiving enough (if GM so desires) #TTRPG system, but #ShadowWorld cranked that to 11.
Nifty environment, cool specific critters and other quirks, but the "you walk ... you die" wears you out.

@phf @Tesqovara i envy you, but who Knows: Maybe the #Kulthea of my memories is cooler as the one codified in the texts. The sky-merchants of Eidolon…. A Guild of navigators teleporting people from Continent to continent? were they even in the books or is this just the blurred Memory of some teenage daydreaming back in the day?
@Tesqovara your Post sends me straight down Memory lane 🙂 i had loads of #ShadowWorld stuff in the later 90s. A Game store in the next larger city (Oldenburg, NW germany) sold them off. We never used #rolemaster, but navigated #Kulthea my means of #Gurps. I remember it as a pretty cool setting which featured loads of isolated islands, some interesting factions, #sciencefantasy and #SwordAndSorcery vibes. Alas, all my Kulthea stuff got lost. „Na ja…“ as we say in German
