Nick Andert is ecstatic about LA Metro's latest decision to go with a modified Alternative 5 for the Sepulveda Line that follows a more direct route with shorter but frequent and automated, heavy rail trains.
We got here thanks to lots of community and transit advocate input. See below for two meetings to attend or send positive comments for this alternative to seal the deal (copied from Nick's video description).

I donāt ride the Dash bus too often, so Iām just seeing their messaging today and Iām highly amused. First, there are little animations showing various prohibitions, like no smoking and no pooping. Seriously?! Also it now says ā See something, do somethingā which seems a bit ominous.

DTLA peeps - I'm trying to confirm the #NoKings march time. Most places, I'm seeing 2pm, meeting at Grand Molina Park. But others say Noon, or even 10a. Do any of you have definitive information? And do you have any information on the route?
Also a heads up on transit: there are already detour plans in place for several routes that go through downtown, and I'm sure there will be more. So plan your route accordingly. To my mind, see if you can take the train for the last leg.
